How much does a dental website cost in India?

Quotes for the same clinic site range from ₹5,000 to ₹2.5 lakh. Here is what sits behind each number, and how to work out which one is right for your practice.

Ask three people what a dental website costs and you will get three answers an order of magnitude apart. That is not because anyone is lying — it is because “website” describes five genuinely different products that happen to share a name.

This is the honest map of the Indian market as of 2026, including our own pricing, so you can work out what you should be paying.

The five price bands

OptionCostTimelineWhat you get
DIY builder₹0–₹15,000/yrYour weekendsA site that exists. Slow, rarely ranks, no booking logic.
Freelancer₹10,000–₹30,0002–6 weeksHighly variable. Often a theme with your logo on it. Support ends at handover.
Dental-only studio₹8,000–₹60,0001–2 weeksSomeone who already knows the specialty. Content written for you, local SEO included.
Generalist agency₹60,000–₹2,50,0006–12 weeksStrong design and process. They learn dentistry on your budget.
Monthly “free website”₹3,000–₹8,000/mo, foreverDaysYou never own it. Leaving means starting over.

The last row deserves a warning. A “free website, just pay monthly” arrangement at ₹5,000 a month costs ₹1.8 lakh over three years, and at the end of it you own nothing — not the files, often not even the domain. It is the most expensive option on this table by a wide margin, and it is sold hardest to the clinics least able to evaluate it.

What actually drives the number

Within a band, the price moves on five things:

  1. Page count. A single long-scroll page is a fraction of the work of twelve treatment pages. This is the biggest single driver.
  2. Who writes the content. If you supply finished copy, the build is cheaper. If the studio interviews you and writes it — which produces a better site — that is real hours.
  3. Photography. Stock is free and undermines you. A half-day shoot at your clinic is ₹8,000–₹20,000 in NCR and outperforms any stock library.
  4. Local SEO and schema. Sometimes included, often quietly not. Ask explicitly whether Google Business Profile setup is in scope.
  5. Booking and integrations. A WhatsApp button is trivial. An AI assistant trained on your treatments and pricing is not.

The costs nobody quotes

Budget for these separately

  • Domain: ₹800–₹1,500 a year. Always registered in your own name.
  • Hosting: ₹0–₹6,000 a year. A static site can genuinely be free on a modern CDN; WordPress needs real hosting.
  • SSL certificate: should be free. Anyone charging for basic SSL in 2026 is overcharging.
  • Maintenance: ₹1,500–₹5,000 a month for WordPress, because plugins must be patched. A hand-built static site needs close to none.
  • Content updates: ask what happens when you add a doctor in month four. Some studios charge per change.
  • Photography: the most under-budgeted line item, and the one with the clearest return.

Working out whether it pays for itself

Compare the cost against case value, not against other websites.

  • A single dental implant in Delhi NCR: roughly ₹25,000–₹45,000.
  • Clear aligners: ₹80,000–₹2,00,000.
  • Full-mouth rehabilitation: several lakhs.
  • A routine cleaning: ₹500–₹1,500.

A ₹35,000 website that produces one extra implant case in a year has broken even. Two, and it is the best-returning thing you bought that year. Meanwhile a ₹5,000 site that produces nothing has a return of exactly zero, however small the number looked.

The right question is not “what is the cheapest site I can get” but “what is the cheapest site that will actually produce cases” — and below a certain floor, the answer is none of them.

What we charge, and why

For transparency, since this page would be poorer without it: a single-page Nifrox clinic site starts at ₹8,000. A full multi-page build with treatment pages, local SEO, Google Business Profile setup, booking and an AI assistant typically lands between ₹25,000 and ₹60,000.

We scope per clinic rather than selling packages, because a single-chair practice in Greater Noida and a four-doctor multispecialty in South Delhi genuinely need different things. You approve the design before any balance is due, and you own every file. The full detail is on the pricing page.

For a single-location clinic that wants the site to actually produce patients, ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 is the realistic band in 2026. Below ₹10,000 you are buying a template; above ₹1 lakh you are usually paying for agency overhead rather than a better outcome.

Almost never. “Free website, pay ₹5,000 a month” costs ₹1.8 lakh over three years and leaves you owning nothing. If you leave, you start from zero.

One-time for the build, and separately for anything genuinely ongoing such as SEO or hosting. Bundling the build into a permanent subscription is how clinics end up unable to leave.

₹1,500 to ₹5,000 a month for a WordPress site, mostly because plugins need patching. A hand-built static site needs almost none, which is one of the reasons we build that way.

No. Rankings come from your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your site speed and your local relevance. A ₹2 lakh site that is slow and has no local markup will lose to a ₹30,000 site that is fast and marked up correctly.
